Excellent company to do business with. I re ordered some therma rest camp mattress puncture kits, as I was concerned they wouldn’t arrive in time for a trip. I paid for express post on the second order.
As soon as I placed this order; the original order arrived!
After making contact the company cancelled and refunded my second order without quibble.
Very happy indeed.

Ordered a Sawyer S1 filter and some Wayfarer food from Base Camp.
Due to a hiccup with the delivery, it didn't turn up, an email to them was returned by Hollie, Who reordered a new filter from Sawyer (I had ordered the last one) and had the new filter and meals within the week.
Hollie from their customer support is a superstar and I have found the prices from Base Camp to be one of the cheapest, but the service is first class

Wanted to order a Helinox cot as they offered the best price. However I was concerned about arrival times due to postage strikes this week.
I rang them but no answer, and saw they suggested email might be quicker. I sent a message expecting a bit of a wait but got a call within ten minutes.
They had called because that days priority orders were due to be shipped very shortly so after a quick chat I ordered and they got it packed and sent within ten minutes so I got my delivery within about 18 hours of emailing them.

Base camp food are an excellent company to deal with any enquiries are dealt with quickly and professionally they have a great range of products. They were also cheaper and quicker to deliver than a certain online shop you've probably heard of A? . So nice as it is to support smaller independent retailers this is a no brainer. Top company 10/10

I always buy Real Turmat meals as I find they are the best but can be a bit pricey. These guys are by far the cheapest AND free, quick delivery.

Great first time experience with Base camp food. I ordered a bulk buy of Summit to eat freeze dried rations which arrived quickly and in good condition. I highly recommend.

Basecampfood are a company that actually care about customer service
I made quite a large order and they phoned when they discovered that they were unable to provide all the items until a couple of days later (they didn't have to do this)
I'd recommend them to anyone who wants good food at a good price from a company that cares ( not many seem to these days)

All around amazing service!
Had a problem with DPD sending it to the wrong country but this was of no fault with basecampfood. Regardless they were quick to respond and had the order sorted in no time at no extra cost.

I use Basecamp Food for their stock of Drytech foods and tend to bulk buy the Arctic Field Rations, Real Turmat and variety packs.

The delivery time is speedy, the service when I've made contact has been excellent and Basecamp Food has become my go-to seller for lightweight food that suits my long solo days and nights on the trail.

I also like that Basecamp stock these more expensive lightweight foods that are a little niche instead of competing on price. The value isn't in the price: it's in the experience of the journey carrying the weight, the food itself and the low waste and clean up.
